In the first phase of election preparation, AAP has decided to concentrate on western Maharashtra where it will start ‘Swarajya Yatra’, a march from Pandharpur on Sunday.
Pune district convener of AAP Mukund Kirdat said that the party will cover seven districts in western Maharashtra in the first phase, speaking about the party’s Delhi model of governance, its education and health schemes through the yatra.
Gopal Italia, co-in charge of AAP’s Maharashtra unit, said, “Our party recently got the status of a national party and we are concentrating on Maharashtra. Elections are due in the state in the next one and half years and we will contest all,” he added.
They will make corruption their poll plank, he said.
