Katy here! I CAN NOT believe it but my sweet baby boy, Denver, just turned 7 months. Where does the time go?! I remember while registering feeling confused about which baby items were worth it or not; especially with all of the options on the internet. Thankfully, Walmart has SO many choices and trusted brands for all things baby – all at a great price! Let me tell ya, I definitely don’t have it all figured out and am still learning as I go here, but think of me as your Mama BFF sharing my go-to baby gear + items that make each day a bit smoother. I hope it helps you too! xoxo
We have entered the “messy” (but fun!) phase at my house supplementing with solids and trying new foods! As a first time Mom this whole world seemed overwhelming, so I am thankful that I’ve been able to bounce questions off of friends and family. I will admit, I tried to make my own purees at first; but as a working Mom I decided I’m going to use these that are already ready to rock for the sake of time and convenience. However, I want to feed my baby high quality and healthy foods, so I am excited that I found these organic purees. I love that he is introduced to new foods and combinations with this variety pack and they are such a great price! TIP: I also freeze these purees and put them into a “feeder” like a popsicle and he LOVES them!
Let’s roll! We like to get out for walks multiple times during the day (not ideally in the rain, I may add 😂) and this jogging stroller is MUST. It’s seriously SO smooth. I love it. I didn’t initially understand the appeal of having a jogging stroller in addition to my regular travel system if I wasn’t planning on truly jogging with it often. However, my neighborhood’s sidewalks are filled with big bumps and this thing can glide right up and over them! I also love that it works with my Evenflo carseat so that I can still have him facing in for now!
Okay, now let’s talk stroller/carseat travel systems. As mentioned, I was overwhelmed with the amount of options on the internet before choosing, but based on research and reviews I ultimately went with this one and love it! I wanted something that came with a carseat, carseat base, option for that to click in to the stroller, and a stroller that could grow with him – this checks all of those boxes! It’s also very lightweight and easy to pop up and down on the go.
If you see a theme here, it’s that I like to purchase one item that covers a lot of ground! This pack ‘n play has been one of our MOST used items since Denver’s been born; there’s 7 ways to use this thing! We started out with the bassinet and changing pad setup downstairs for those newborn naps and frequent changes and now have moved it to the lower pack ‘n play option in our bedroom for nighttime sleep!
We are all over the place brand wise here, but I truly use a variety of things! Making sure I’m putting clean products on my baby is something very important to me. All of these items I can feel good about using! These wipes are 99% water with no fragrances, parabens, latex, or alcohol. Hello Bello diapers are made in the USA, made using 100% renewable energy and a zero-waste product design manufacturing process, and they give back and have donated over 6 million diapers! Their bath products are free from synthetic fragrances & dyes and don’t contain any allergens, parabens, etc. I also love that they are very affordable and accessible for all!
My honest diaper cream is more on the pricey side, but a little goes a long way! Every baby is different of course, but we have probably only used about 1.5 tubes since Denver has been born (7 months).
This little gadget went viral on TikTok and I definitely know why! “More than just a lullaby machine, the Sea Dreams Soother comforts the baby with classical melodies and soothes and glow light effects brought to life by an enchanting cast of Baby Einstein characters”. It has multiple sound effect options (with or without the light) and has been so helpful for my little one who fights sleep. Check out the under $40 version here!
