PUNE: The Kondhwa police on Tuesday night arrested an interior design worker (18) on the charge of touching a four-year-old girl inappropriately when she was sleeping around 3pm on June 27.
A case under Section 8 (sexual assault) of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act has been registered.
Inspector (crime) Sanjay Mogle said, “The other worker hired for furniture work had gone out. When the suspect saw the girl sleeping, he walked into the bedroom and started touching her inappropriately. The girl’s mother caught him and called the police.”
